Nostr Wallet Connect is an open protocol that allows applications to interact with a Lightning wallet over the Nostr relay network. Instead of sharing API keys or credentials directly, NWC lets you grant scoped spending permissions to an app via a connection string — you stay in control of your wallet while external services can trigger payments on your behalf. payinbtc.me supports NWC as a wallet connection method, meaning you can link a compatible wallet (such as Alby, Mutiny, or Zeus) and authorise invoice creation and payment without exposing your full wallet access. NWC is the cleanest way to integrate Lightning into existing workflows without self-hosting a full payment processor.

This wallet works with the BTCpay server. If you choose our hosted solution we will contact you during the setup for the wallet details.
