Opennode

OpenNode is a US-based Bitcoin-only payment processor supporting both on-chain and Lightning Network payments. It targets businesses that want a developer-friendly, API-first integration with minimal setup. Merchants settle in Bitcoin or USD (fiat settlement is currently limited to US-based bank accounts). The fee is a flat 1% per transaction with no setup, monthly, or annual fees.

We assume you have a Opennode account and it's already set up to suit your needs. If not, you have to do this first. After you have finalized setting up your Opennode account you can continue with the steps below.

1. Login to Opennode
2. In the top menu select Developers
3. Click on the tile Integrations
4. Click on the button Add Key
5. In the popup window enter the following details:
   • Name: payinbtc.me (or any name you like)
   • Permissions: Invoices
6. Press Generate and the API key is shown
7. Press the Copy button to copy the API key
8. Share the generated API keys with us during the activation process
