Coinsnap

Coinsnap is a Bitcoin-only, self-custody payment gateway supporting on-chain and Lightning Network payments. It's a strong fit for merchants who want to accept Bitcoin without giving up control of their funds, all payments are forwarded directly to the merchant's own Lightning wallet or Bitcoin address, with no custodial intermediary. Merchants can also opt for EUR settlement to a bank account via partner services.

We assume you have a Coinsnap account and it's already set up to suit your needs. If not, you have to do this first. After you have finalized setting up your Coinsnap account you can continue with the steps below.

1. Log in to CoinGate and click Settings on the left side of the screen
2. In the submenu shown, click Store and the screen below is shown
3. We need the following two items during the activation of you payinbtc.me account:
   • Coinsnap Store ID
   • Coinsnap API Key
