Moneymonk
MoneyMonk is an online bookkeeping application designed for Dutch freelancers and small business owners. Setup
MoneyMonk uses a URL-based integration, which means no direct connection to your administration is required. Simply ensure that the currency of your MoneyMonk administration matches the one configured in your payinbtc.me account. The only setup needed is adding the Bitcoin payment link to your invoice template.
Add bitcoin payment link to invoice and email
We have to add the bitcoin payment link to the invoice. To set this up, perform the following steps.
- Logon into MoneyMonk with your credentials.
- If you have multiple companies in Moneybird, make sure you select the right one before you take the next steps.
- Click Instellingen in the navigation menu.
- Click Facturen in the sub menu shown.
- Click Sjablonen in the tabs shown on top and select the template you want to edit.
- Click the button Layout aanpassen
- On the right side of the screen you will see buttons to add text area's. Choose the one that suits you best.
- Enter the payment link. Please see account activation email for the details about this link.
- You can optionally change styling and size and for which templates (Offer, Invoice, Reminder, etc.) the text area is shown.
- On the left side of the screen you will see a preview of the invoice. If everything is set up correctly, you should see the payment link in the invoice.
- Optionally you can add the payment link to the email that is sent to the customer.
- Click on the text Email on top of the preview screen that is shown in step 11 above

- Select Factuur if not already selected.
- Add the payment link and text. Please see account activation email for the details about this link.
Done! You are now ready to accept bitcoin via your invoices. Test it out with a test invoice.
